About Sabira

A Bit About Us

I’ve spent much of my life in hospitality, learning, growing, and sharing my passion for food. My journey began as a teenager, but my first lessons in the kitchen came from my mother and grandmother—whose love, strength, and traditions first shaped my foundation. My family was in the hospitality business, and their example showed me the beauty of gathering over food as a way to connect and create community.

Through partnerships, challenges, and experience, I found my voice and my true roots with Souk—a celebration of Lebanese traditions with modern twists. Sabira represents my next chapter—a vision of family, growth, and shared experiences.

It’s an ode to the strong women in my life—pillars of wisdom, strength, kindness, patience, and resilience—who taught me the art of hospitality and the joy of shared meals. Kara and I believe Sabira is more than a restaurant. It’s a reflection of all the things that connect us—kindness, shared experiences, patience, and food.

Our Food: The Heartbeat of Sabira

At Sabira, food isn’t just something you eat—it’s the reason you linger, celebrate, and reconnect. Our focus is on small plates and sharable Mediterranean-inspired dishes, with a special nod to Italian flavors that feel fresh yet familiar. Every dish is made with care, intention, and the belief that food tastes better when shared.

It’s about simplicity, honesty, and joy—whether it’s fresh handmade pasta, perfectly seasoned vegetables, or a comforting bite you didn’t know you needed. We’ve created a menu that invites exploration, joy, and meaningful connection.

Sabira is connected to Souk, but it stands on its own

An intimate, elevated space that reflects our passion for food, wine, and hospitality. The design is warm yet refined, with textures that invite guests to settle in and savor the experience. Mediterranean at its core, but with an Italian-forward focus, Sabira offers a scratch kitchen with house made doughs and pastas. While tradition anchors each dish, there’s room for exploration, weaving in flavors from the Mediterranean; Spain, Portugal, and beyond. Playful Italian-Lebanese fusions bring a unique edge, honoring both heritage and innovation. The wine and cocktail program is expansive yet thoughtful, designed to complement the food and expand palates. Every dish tells a story, every sip is intentional. Sabira isn’t just another restaurant; it’s personal. It’s a reflection of Chef Moussa’s journey, dedication, and belief that dining should be more than just a meal—it should be an experience.
